Permission Required
You must have permission to sublet. For condos, you need permission from the housing association. For rental apartments, you need permission from the landlord.
Rent Setting
You cannot charge unlimited rent. For condos: reasonable rent based on use value plus furniture supplement (max 10-15%). For rental apartments: maximum the same rent you pay.
Tax Rules
Standard deduction of 40,000 SEK per year. Rental income above this is taxed at 30%.
